Tues 12th Jan Open meeting cancelled due to inclement weather
Sun 31st Jan Task Day. We may have the Willow trees but meet at Rivelin Mill Pond Car Park anyway.
Tue 9th Feb Open Meeting  Illustrated Talk entitled “Wildflower Haymeadows” by Kathy Burkenshaw.  A welcome look forward to summertime in the Derwent Valley.
Sun 28nd Feb Task day.  Keith will be in touch for the work programme and location.  If not on his email list try ringing him.
Tue 9th Mar Open Meeting  Illustrated Talk entitled “In the Footsteps of the Incas – A Journey through Peru” by Pete Robinson.  Another look at the wider world from a different perspective.  Pete has shared his wonderful adventure photos with us before. 
Sun 28th Mar Task Day  Estate Management work at Carver Fields.  We agreed to look after the routine maintenance of this local recreation area for the Methodist Church as long as it remains a public open space. We have some new seats to fix.
Tue 13th Apr R.V.C.G. A.G.M.  Your favourite event on the Social Calendar.  A look back over 20 years of RVCG and forward to where we go from here.  This year to be run with a photographic competition.  You can submit up to 3 pictures, preferably taken in the valley and best displayed on a stand. Bring them on the night.
Sun 25th Apr Task Day- Spring Clean  Our annual attempt to spruce up Rivelin  Valley – Road, River and Trail.  10.00 am. Havelock Pond Car Park
1st to 31st May Environment Weeks in Sheffield
  Make sure you have a programme.  Our Events are:-
Sun 2nd May Not The Dawn Chorus   Meet 8.00 am. at Pudding Ladies Cafe.
Tue 18th May  Evening Walk  7.00pm.  Venue to be decided
Sun 30th May

Task Day  Revelling in Rivelin.  Meet at Rivelin Mill at 10.00am. Some work and some fun

   
   
   

There is a small admission and refreshment charge at the 7.30 Open meetings at Stephen Hill Church

All our Meetings are "open" - Non-members are especially welcome
