Nethercut Mill Pond  The weir diverting water from the Rivelin to the next wheel pond Installing drainage under the footpath.
 Huge stone blocks had been used to pave the footpath.... .....so this was no easy task.  Recovering the top of a tunnel which took the water to the next wheel
     This small pond was later dug out

A few antiquities recovered The old sluice gate Diverted water from  the weir above  flows under this path to the next pond 
The goit tunnel passes under this path The spread of Himalayan Balsam in the valley is alarming
